We are happy to share updates from our recent Energy Efficiency consultation meeting with project stakeholders, which focused on raising awareness and advisory service planning. The meeting was held in Dodoma on March 22, 2023 and brought together communication and public relations officials from government agencies to share best practices and insights on how to effectively communicate about energy efficiency.

Participants discussed designing behaviour-changing messages and identifying specific activities for each project action, delving into the nitty-gritty of implementing awareness campaigns. Led by Emilian Nyanda from the Ministry of Energy, the consultation meeting emphasized the importance of collaboration between media professionals and stakeholders to ensure successful awareness efforts. Aaron Cunningham, Energy Efficiency Project Manager from UNDP, highlighted the critical role of stakeholder participation and engagement.
